DASHING

The questions people ask before the call.

Do I have to write anything?

No. You talk: ten recorded one-hour interviews. What you do is review every chapter twice and approve the architecture, the cover and the printed proof.

How long does it take?

Weeks, not years. The exact date goes in your proposal, because it depends on your material and your calendar.

What if the assessment says no?

You're told in writing, with reasons. Sometimes it's "not yet," sometimes "you need something else." We don't charge for saying it.

Who edits my book?

In English, Daniel Mendoza, the founder. You meet him in the Author Assessment.

Does AI write my book?

No. Your editor writes it from your transcribed interviews. The tool organizes, proposes and helps proofread; it doesn't invent an idea you didn't say.

Do I have to disclose it on Amazon?

Amazon distinguishes AI-generated content, which must be disclosed, from AI-assisted content, which doesn't. Your book is assisted and is declared as such, honestly, backed by a process record.

Who owns the rights?

You do, one hundred percent. No assignment, no exclusivity, no lock-in.

Who collects the royalties?

You, directly. Your Amazon and IngramSpark accounts are in your name. DASHING doesn't touch that money.

How many copies will I sell?

Probably few. An expert's book isn't a sales product: it's a credential. We measure it by what it brings you —invitations, clients, fees— not by copies.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes: two, four or six depending on the package, at no extra cost. The payment link comes with the proposal, after the call.

Will you feature me on your site as a success story?

No, unless you ask in writing. Your record is private; it's for measuring, not for showing off.

And if I want to pull the book?

Pull it whenever you want. You get the final files and can republish it with another ISBN.

If your question isn’t here, we’ll answer it in the Author Assessment.
